'Troll's child' - Family Musical Workshops & Showcases

SangSangMaru conducts a Korea-Vietnam co-creation workshop for the family musical 'Troll's Child' with Youth Theatre of Vietnam. Through the joint workshop between Korea and Vietnam, the project aims to reinterpret the true meaning and value of modern families and to implement literary value on stage.

The creative musical project was developed based on the Swedish short story "Troll Child" by Selma Lagerlöf, the first female Nobel Prize winner who dealt with beautiful maternal love and love for life based on the troll legend in Northern Europe. While maintaining the literary value of the original work, the project aims to convey the message that true families or communities can be formed through efforts to accept and understand each other's differences.
